Priyanka Chopra is in the business of making headlines every morning, it appears. First, she stunned us at the Oscars. More recently she voiced Kaa for The Jungle Book, and even brought home a Padma Shri award. And now she’s been featured on Time’s The World’s 100 Most Influential People list – aka #TIME100. The magazine got Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to write about the actor: “It’s an amazing time to watch as she pierces the U.S. market. She has an ability to inspire people to do more and achieve more. When I look at her success from the 50,000-ft. view and see everything that Priyanka has already done, is currently doing and has the desire and the bandwidth to do, I can see that her impact is going to be invaluable.” We couldn’t agree more.
She shares space with other prominent names, like Adele, Leonardo DiCaprio, Idris Elba, Yayoi Kusama and Riccardo Tisci. But don’t miss the other strong names on the list: activist Sunita Narain, healthcare hero Raj Panjabi, funny man Aziz Ansari, Google’s Sundar Pichai, Flipkart’s Binny and Sachin Bansal, tennis champion Sania Mirza and economist Raghuram Rajan.
Predictably, PC is over the moon:
