After an intimate roka ceremony and a grand party in Mumbai to announce their engagement, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are back in America. While Nick and his family returned soon after the celebrations, Priyanka joined them a couple of days ago. In their first public appearance since the Mumbai trip, the couple du jour stepped out for brunch in Malibu. The duo hung out at the restaurant Nobu, a popular celebrity jaunt. Keeping it stylish as always, Priyanka paired high-waist denims with a chic black blouse, while Nick picked a fitted blue shirt and brown pants.
According to a source quoted in Mumbai Mirror, “Priyanka completed the first schedule of Shonali Bose’s The Sky is Pink with Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim earlier last week and will now only join them again towards the end of September. She had stayed back to complete some prior commitments and spend time with her family before heading to the US, a trip that was planned well in advance.” Further, the report also added that in the month-long trip, the Quantico actress will head to Italy to attend a wedding of a corporate head honcho’s daughter.
While there are speculations that Priyanka and Nick will tie the knot in October, Priyanka’s mother Madhu has clarified that the date hasn’t been set yet. She told DNA, “It’s too soon… Both of them have work commitments right now which they need to finish. They will take some time to decide where they want it and when they want it.”
