Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s extraordinary relationship is getting very real and serious — like, full family flying over 14 hours to another country to meet your partner’s family serious.
Chopra and Jonas are now reported to be planning an engagement party this Saturday in Mumbai to introduce their families. That means the Jonas Brothers and their parents are all committing to a day of travel (and all its costs) to get to Mumbai from the U.S. to chill with the Chopra clan, their future in-laws.
IndiaDNA reports a source told them that “Priyanka has sent out messages to close friends and family members to set aside time on August 18 for a party. It’s exactly a month after her birthday and those close to the Quantico actress feel that she may make an official announcement about her relationship status at the bash.”
People was less specific about date but also reported that yes, Chopra’s and Jonas’s families are going to hang in India at a get-together. “He and his family are going to India to meet her family,” a source told the outlet.
Chopra is already in Mumbai filming a movie, The Sky Is Pink. Jonas, meanwhile, was last in Miami celebrating his brother Joe’s 29th birthday this weekend.
