Priyanka Chopra introduced fiancé Nick Jonas to her BFF Meghan Markle and Prince Harry

Would you ever marry without getting your best friend’s approval? Yeah, we didn’t think so either. Turns out Priyanka Chopra’s BFF Meghan Markle was one of the first few to find out that Priyanka and Nick Jonas were engaged. According to a leading daily, the two visited the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at their house in Oxfordshire, England, during the same week that Nick proposed to Priyanka in London on her 36th birthday.

Upon formally introducing Nick to the royal couple, Meghan said that she was “very excited” for the couple, reported E! News. “Everyone is very happy and they are definitely a great match,” E!’s insider added.

Priyanka and Meghan first became friends when the former was shooting for her series Quantico. “She’s always been someone who’s so just aware and interested in the world. I met her three or four years ago and what we bonded on was how much we feel like we contribute to that as public people. I really feel like that’s what she was born to do and I hope this gives her the opportunity do that,” Priyanka once during an interview on The Jenny McCarthy Show.

Staying true to her friendship, Priyanka attended Meghan’s royal wedding to Prince Harry earlier this year. Time for Meghan to return the favour?

On the work front, Priyanka has dropped out of Bharat — the Bollywood film that was being touted as her homecoming — to make time for her wedding to Nick. Katrina Kaif has now replaced Priyanka’s role and will be starring opposite Salman Khan, after working with him in Tiger Zinda Hai.
