Priyanka Chopra has been in Jordan over the past week as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, spending time with the children of refugee camps to better understand their situation and shed light on it. Through her Instagram, the actress’ followers have been able to follow her mission and gain a better understanding of the situation in Jordan.
On one of her visits to the Za’atari Refugee Camp, PC was pleased to discover that her fame extended beyond the realm of celebrity gossip and into the lives of the refugees. She shared a message on her Instagram from Wafaa, one of the girls at the camp, singing praises for Katrina Kaif:
The realisation that a few hours of entertainment could bring joy to others’ lives seemed to overwhelm PC. Priyanka thanked other Bollywood celebrities for doing what they do and touching the lives of so many across the globe. The image caption read:
