Priyanka Chopra sends love to Bollywood from Jordan

As a celebrity, one of the most crucial responsibilities is arguably your influence on the people whose lives you enter. Amidst the tabloid gossip and famous feuds, it’s easy to forget the humanity in fame. Priyanka Chopra has been in Jordan over the past week as a goodwill ambassador for UNICEF, spending time with the children of refugee camps to better understand their situation and shed light on it. Through her Instagram, the actress’ followers have been able to follow her mission and gain a better understanding of the situation in Jordan.

On one of her visits to the Za’atari Refugee Camp, PC was pleased to discover that her fame extended beyond the realm of celebrity gossip and into the lives of the refugees. She shared a message on her Instagram from Wafaa, one of the girls at the camp, singing praises for Katrina Kaif:

This is a special shout out to one of Indias biggest movie stars. @katrinakaif this video is just for you, all the way from Za’atari Refugee camp in Jordan. This is Wafaa, one of your biggest fans and her message roughly translated is “I love Katrina Kaif a lot and I am one of her fans. I have watched all her movies and never missed one, even if a movie is played more than once I watch it. I love you Katrina and love your beauty.” I was especially told to give messages of love to these Massive Indian film superstars, who are favourites at Za’atari… SHAHRUKH KHAN, SALMAN KHAN, AKSHAY KUMAR, KAREENA KAPOOR and ANUSHKA SHARMA… a big shoutout to you all and Hindi movies from these amazing kids who are huge fans…our movies give them some much joy ..
