Priyanka Chopra’s shopping list
In an interview with Into The Gloss, the actor names the stars in her beauty kit

Eyes
“The most incredible product that has ever been discovered in makeup, according to me, is mascara. I think it opens up your eyes unlike anything else. Right now I am using the Diorshow Waterproof Mascara in Catwalk Black. I don’t like them to be clumpy, but I like them to be voluminous because I don’t wear that much eyeliner or eyeshadow. I do it very carefully—just a little bit—and then comb it out.”
ELLE tip: Need cheaper options? Save on mascara and liner. One-off indulgences apart, do you really need to spend so much on something you should definitely toss in six months (or risk eye infections)? With so many great budget alternatives, we’d rather not.

Foundation
“For my skin, I use MAC's Studio Fix Fluid Foundation or Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation in Honey 5 when I need a quick fix. They're super thick, so you have to be careful how you use them. When I do use foundation, I don’t put it on my cheeks, which is the most obvious place to start off—just on my nose and the areas that I don’t want to look shiny.”
ELLE tip: Do you know how to prep for makeup? Hydrate your skin generously and massage for a whole minute. This will not only make your make-up look fresh but also create a layer between the skin and damaging ingredients (if any) in a foundation.

Lips
“I use MAC's Ruby Woo when I'm tired and don't want to wear makeup but want to look fresh. I just put on a red lipstick and nothing else. A bright shade wakes up your skin, but I don’t like lipstick looking like lipstick. I prefer it to look just like I blotted it on.”
ELLE tip: Want the PC pout? Although Piggy Chops is blessed with naturally full lips, it’s not difficult for the less endowed to fake it to some extent, if you spend some time prepping them. Use a lip scrub, or just mix a spoonful of ground oats with sugar and rub your lips till the dry bits are scrubbed off and softened. What this also does is increase blood circulation and therefore, plump up your lips temporarily.

Skin
“There's a really heavy and balmy Clarins cream that I like called the Instant Smooth Perfecting Touch. I use it before I start putting makeup on. But because I like to change my products every six months, I now sub in SK-II's Cellumination Aurabright Illuminating Essence.”
ELLE tip: Shopping on a budget? Do not skimp on a few key pieces like your night cream and serum. For the others, pick from low-to-mid range — whichever suits your budget.

Hair
“Every week, I try to do a conditioning mask, which is the Kiehl's Olive Fruit Oil Deeply Repairative Hair Pak. They have amazing hydrating masks, and I use them as often as I remember. I also do oil massages on my head.”
ELLE tip: Weather making you frizz out? Make weekly masks a ritual. Apply and leave in for five minutes while you scrub your feet or sing an Adele number. Add a few drops of dry oil or serum to your mask for extra frizz control. Rinse off with room-temperature to cold water.

Priyanka Chopra works hard. And we’re not just talking about the movies, TV show and singing career, not to mention the endorsements. She works hard to undo the stress of all that a manically busy career entails. Imagine what daily blow-dries, layers of makeup, products gunking up your hair and skin, and hours under bright, hot lights can do to you. It takes heavy-duty care to reverse the damage. Chopra spoke to beauty website Into The Gloss about the products and routines that help her hold onto the glow, off the screen.
