In contrast to their usually minimal, understated beauty looks on the runway, fashion house Proenza Schouler has come together with M.A.C to create an electric line of Spring/Summer make-up.
This collaboration with designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez is bringing us a collection that includes sunset-coloured ombre face powders, nail lacquers that range from a bright coral (Bougainvillea) to a pitch black (Nocturnelle, a favourite), lip colours in shades from plum to pink, eyeliners, lip pencils and a powder brush. The shades are stunning, but the packaging’s what has us hooked – the metallic oil-slick rainbow of hues make these products a powder room conversation-starter.
A selection of products reached the ELLE office for a preview, and was immediately snatched up. For the rest, it’s a long wait; the products hit select M.A.C stores only in June. See you in the queue.
