A hot piece of Rahul Mishra’s Spring/Summer ’17 collection is up for grabs, and it’s making us rethink our reservations about white leather. The designer drew heavily from the jungle book paintings of Henri Rousseau for his Parisian presentation, some of the rainforest-themed embroidery even petering down to the white slip-ons.
Craftsmen toiled over cotton voile and organdy, before transferring the Rousseau-inspired patches onto the leather. Those lust-worthy pieces have now made their way to online retailer Oceedee, where they are currently available for pre-order (and at half the asking price of Rs 9,999).
So you know what we’re doing this summer.
