Raw Mango launches a vibrant new line

Raw Mango launches a vibrant new line

The collection marries South Indian temple design and Benarasi fabrics

By Sara Shah  February 2nd, 2016

You don’t necessarily put South Indian temple design and Benarasi fabrics in the bracket. Yet Sanjay Garg of Raw Mango is doing just that: bridging the gap with a new collection of silk saris called Three Shuttles. It features stunning designs that mirror intricate carvings seen in Southern temples. The collection derives its name, from a three shuttle weaving technique used to make the saris. Plus, tie-dye – bright a summer favourite – appears on pallus. The lookbook, shot in Bangalore, features portraits of real couples from various backgrounds.
