Here’s a fragrance that you’ll want to snuggle with all day. Gucci Bloom is creative director, Alessandro Michele’s first stamp in the fashion house’s fragrance portfolio, and it’s anything but a basic floral. The juice is heavy on jasmine and tuberose that blends into sensual woody and musky notes. What really makes it different are the offbeat notes of Rangoon creeper, a plant originating in South India that gives the fragrance its heady, powdery edge. The final result is warm, comforting and also sexy, but not so much that you need to reserve it just for the night. For something called Bloom in a millennial pink bottle, this one sure packs in the unexpected.
Priced at Rs 8,400 for 100ml, this floral bouquet is currently only available at the Mumbai Duty Free. We suggest you make amends with your frequent flier relatives to get your hands on this one.
