Ritu Kumar does military chic right at the Lakme Fashion Week

For a collection titled "Maharaja Pop', Ritu Kumar sure delivered the goods. Her Summer/Resort 2017 presentation at Lakme Fashion Week witnessed a packed house and sprightly models decked in western fusion.

The neo-combat trend reigned supreme as the designer flooded the runway with structured silhouettes in military-inspired fabrics, but micro-pleated metallics and heavy vintage crépe put in an appearance too.

ELLE January covergirl Vaani Kapoor brought the show to a close in a biker jacket and sheer body suit combo. We'll be coming back for seconds, thank you.
