How to make wardrobe basics stand out: A masterclass by Rosie Huntington Whiteley
BY Shree Vrinda | October 4th, 2019
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has to be one of our all-time favourite fashionistas, because she consistently looks polished and impeccably stylish. While she always stands out on the red carpet in gowns by Versace and Balmain, it’s her personal style that has caught our eye.
The secret to Rosie’s off-duty wardrobe is to not worry about staying on top of trends, but investing in classic, covetable pieces that are simple but elegant.
Rosie tends to lean towards luxury brands with a grown-up aesthetic, such as Bottega Veneta, Celine and Max Mara. She usually opts for cream, white and tan tones and simple silhouettes, mixed with one or two statement pieces such as bold T-shirt or a punchy print. She is a believer in the philosophy that if it’s a belt or bag you are going to wear on repeat, it is wise to invest in classics from the likes of Gucci and Saint Laurent. This season–we spotted her wearing the Bottega Veneta pouch and square toe mules almost every single day. Scroll through the gallery below to see our favourite Rosie outfits.
