There’s a reason why celebrity nutritionist and dietitian, Rujuta Diwekar is widely followed in Bollywood. From being Kareena Kapoor Khan’s personal nutritionist to keeping Alia Bhatt on track, Rujuta emphasises on simple, holistic techniques to achieve your fitness goals.

The nutritionist took to Instagram to share specially curated quarantine plans for each day. Each plan involves a morning workout and a whole meal chart.

Let’s be real. We all have gone through phases of keto cupcakes, vegan chocolate mousse, non-dairy smoothies and other diets that came crashing down within 4 days. Which leads us to a couple of questions. Is it time to enforce our new year resolutions within these 21 days of lock down? Is it time to start prioritizing our health ? They say it takes 21 days to form a habit and maybe this a sign in disguise to get your health right.

The Quarantine plans by Rujuta Diwekar are simple and extremely easy to follow. No fancy oils or elaborate recipes. All you need is some time in the morning (which you obviously have, thanks to self-quarantine), a little determination and your mom’s Indian spice box in the kitchen. The plans are homely, warm and super delicious.

The Quarantine meal plan – Weekly meal and workout plan for #WorkFromHome and #StayatHome There’s a lot in our diverse culinary wisdom to offer you a variety of nutrients to last through the quarantine. I have tried to build a weekly meal plan using our non-perishables – Dals, grains, millets and spices. This plan will not just keep you well-nourished but also keep you in a positive frame of mind. Some of it is going to require learning and unlearning but that’s the silver lining of any crisis, if I may say so. That they force you to question what is important, what is worth learning and keeping in our homes, hearts and stomachs. Hopefully, you will emerge stronger, wiser and with the ability to see food for what it really is – not a sum total of carbs, protein and fat but love, nurture, health and harmony. So this is me, trying to answer that quintessential question – “aaj kya banau?" Feel free to download and share. #jantacurfew #coronavirusindia #homemade
