Khadi gets a designer update at Sailesh Singhania

Bringing his own spin of contemporary to the handloom zone, Sailesh Singhania debuted a line of exquisite khadi saris on day 2 of at Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017.

Organza blouses with frilly bows were the order of the day in a lush colour palette ranging from scarlet to powder blue and lilac. Running forrest squirrels and the holy cow from the ‘Pichwai’ paintings of Lord Krishna played muse for the motifs.
