Lakme Fashion Week is heralded as one of the leading fashion events which forecasts trends that we will soon see everywhere, and this Spring Summer 2018 edition was no different. Designers like Tarun Tahiliani, Manish Malhotra, Anita Dongre and Shantanu and Nikhil presented us with stylish saris that were either draped differently, accessorised with statement belts and jewellery or worn with intricately-embellished blouses.

While Kotwara and Nakita Singh experimented with flounce-sleeved blouses, 431-88 by Shweta Kapur, Payal Singhal and Shantanu and Nikhil went for off-shoulder blouses. Manish Malhotra added fringe detailing to his blouses, and Ridhi Mehra played with delicate beadwork.

Whether it’s SVA’s belted sari gown that you’d pick for a summer wedding or a handwoven Benarasi sari from Hemang Agrawal that you’d choose for a luncheon with friends, these trendy saris from Lakme Fashion Week are all you need this season to up your sari game.
