While we don’t really need a reason to shop, a trunk show with some of our favourite designers is always a good one. And that’s why we’ve pencilled The VIP Room into our calendars.
An exclusive retail experience – conceptualised by celebrity stylist, Teena Ahuja and her brother, Tarun Ahuja – The VIP Room is set to take place between August 12 and 13 at The Grand Hyatt in Mumbai. The roster of participating designers includes Amit Aggarwal, Falguni and Shane Peacock, JJ Valaya, Shehla Khan and Varun Bahl, with a curated selection of gowns, concept saris, lehengas, cocktail dresses on offer.
“The VIP Room was started with the idea to bring some of India’s cult designers in direct contact with true shoppers,” said Teena. “This year is going to be even more special, as we have introduced a mix of both Indian and western wear, taking into consideration the renewed demand for western wear.”
