Dror, who previously dressed Beyoncé for the Grammys in 2016, confirmed yesterday that the royal family contacted her about possibly making the dress for Markle. Who else they tapped isn’t clear, but Dror’s dresses themselves all include long sleeves and are cinched at the waist. One is more A-line while the other two have sleeker skirts—a hint this may be the general style Markle wants. (See the images on TMZ.)
The designs echo traditional royal wedding styles—Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge also chose long sleeves and cinched waists for their wedding gowns.
