Sonam Kapoor Ahuja’s often hailed as fashion’s It girl, and this experimental streak trickles down to her make-up looks as well. She’s often seen delivering major beauty inspo on the red carpet and at promotion events, case in point: her iridescent eye look. Whether its sporting graphic eyeliner or the classic cat-eye, the actor always manages to get it right. We turned to the brains behind her looks, make-up artist Arti Nayar for tips on how to recreate two of her eyeliner looks.
Nayar, who also works with the likes of Parineeti Chopra and Alia Bhatt, loves dabbling with eyeliner. She says, “It allows you to add endless amount of drama to any look.” Here are her top tips to nail Sonam Kapoor-Ahuja’s eyeliner looks:

Classic with a twist
“Start by applying pink eyeshadow all over your lid. Then, contour your crease with a hint of matte brown shadow.”
“Lay on thick eyeliner and wing it out. To tie everything together, make sure you join the top wing to the bottom lash line.”
“On the outer lash line, place a pearl sticker.”

Draw on a thick line on your upper eyelid close to the lash line. “Then, lift the winged edge of the liner and extend it into the crease of the eyelid.”
“To draw the liner perfectly in the crease, start in the middle of your lid and work your way down towards the edge. Join the line to the cat-eye wing and you’re done!”
