Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja are slowly warming us up to their D-day with celebrations that are only quadrupling in size. Last night, the couple had an intimate gathering over at Sonam’s bungalow in Juhu, Mumbai, with close family members and friends in tow. Today, the function is in full swing at Bandra’s The Sunteck, Signature Island, with the crème de la crème of the Bollywood industry attending. With a special colour-coded theme of white traditional outfits, the bride-to-be has chosen a resplendent lehenga choli in white and gold from couturiers Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who reportedly had multiple teams working on this ensemble, collectively taking 18 months to handcraft it. (Side note: So Sonam and Anand have been planning their wedding for the last 18 months? Hmm).
Sonam rounds off the elegant ensemble with an elaborate maang tikka, jhumkas, a pearl choker and bangles. Smokey and kohl-rimmed eyes, pink lips and a light blush give her a radiant glow.
