Sonam Kapoor wedding details were confirmed this morning by local newspaper Mumbai Mirror, which announced the actress was marrying boyfriend Anand Ahuja in an intimate ceremony in Geneva on May 11-12. Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor has reportedly been personally calling guests to invite them to the marriage of the year, which was earlier reported to be in Udaipur. After Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s secret ceremony in Tuscany, the trend of Bollywood celebrities jetting off for destination weddings continues. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja decided to tie the knot in the Swiss town, after the actress fell in love with the location on a recent trip there as an ambassador with a luxury watch company.
According to the newspaper report, Sonam has already picked couturiers Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla to design her wedding trousseau. She’s also engaged London-based haute couturiers Ralph & Russo — she recently walked the runway for them in Paris — to design a look for her wedding.
