Ever since the first poster of Veere Di Wedding released, we’ve been pumped to see what Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan would bring to the table. With the trailer release on April 19, the team is prepping for their promotional song, tentatively titled ‘Tareefan’, which features Sonam, Kareena, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania, and is sung by rapper Badshah.
Choreographer Farah Khan gave us a sneak peek into the shooting of the song which has Sonam and Kareena looking superhero-ready in all-black ensembles. Sonam flaunts a corset that she layers with a knee-length coat and thigh-high boots. With her hair pulled back in a tight chignon, she rounds off her look with statement earrings and a sultry smokey eye.
Kareena takes the heat ten notches higher in her patent leather pants with fringe detailing, a tank top and black tie-up stilettos. Heavy gold chains complete the hip-hop elements to this ensemble.
In another sequence of the song, Sonam and Kareena are sporting corset-inspired outfits — while the former picks an off-white corset that she wears over a high-neck sheer top in black, the latter opts for a black racy off-shoulder outfit decorated with sequins and feathers.
Veere Di Wedding is directed by Shashanka Ghosh, and produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor. The film is expected to release on June 1.
