The summer of 2020 may have gone being cooped up in our rooms. But while we didn’t get a chance to flaunt our floppy summer hats and sun dresses at the beach, it doesn’t mean we let our vacay spirit die. It’s time to pamper yourself with a staycation. Think of this: If you’re in or around Mumbai, you don’t have to use mass transit. All you need to do is pack your bags, put on your masks and take drive down to The Oberoi, Mumbai.
Located at Marine Drive, the property offers eclectic skyline and ocean views, the luxury of space, distance and privacy. With its newly lauched plan called Weekend Escapes (available from Thursday to Sunday), you can now check into an affordable yet plush room with flexible check-in and check-out timings. And in case you’re not in Mumbai, then fret not. The Weekend Escapes offer is also available at The Oberoi, Gurgaon; The Oberoi, Bengaluru and The Oberoi Grand, Kolkata.
While the fear of contracting Covid-19 continues to linger, the hotel is taking all the necessary precautions recommended by the World Health Organization and following the Ministry of Tourism guidelines, to further enhance hygiene and safety standards. It has also partnered with Bureau Veritas, the world leader in testing, inspection and certification services, to validate and review its safety measures. That’s not all, here are some other steps that the hotel is taking to ensure a safe stay for you:
The hotel chain has introduced contactless technology which involves contactless check-in and check-out through emails and digital payments, accessing the hotel services through QR code displays and also facilitates contactless dining.
The fleet of hotel-owned and operated cars are thoroughly sanitised before and after each trip.
The hotel staff is in disposable gloves and masks at all times. Before starting work, each staff member undergoes a body temperature check.
