“I like minimal and anti-fit pieces in neutral colours and clean lines with a few unique details. Most of my travel these days tends to be work-oriented, but these trips feel like vacations in a way – they’re escapes from the daily routine in the city. Many of my everyday maxis and skirts can be styled up for daily wear in the city, and dressed down to use as comfortable travel wear. They might look a bit out of place in a village in Kerala, for example, but they’re easy to travel in and modest enough to go traversing the countryside in.”

“My style is heavily influenced by the ’60s (Jackie O is my ultimate style icon) and rock ’n’ roll culture. I like to holiday twice a year – a diving destination like Maldives is always on the cards, as is a place with potential for cultural exploration, like Japan. My most memorable trip was to Cuba – the people and their music had so much passion! Being comfortable is being smart, especially when it comes to travelling – I’m always investing in good quality loungewear.”

“I like to think of my personal style as timeless and classic. You’ll always find am:pm by Ankur and Priyanka Modi, Alice + Olivia and Helmut Lang in my suitcase. When I’m travelling for leisure, I like to keep it simple and uncomplicated during the day and glam for the evening. Whenever I need to disconnect from city life, I head to the Maldives. Thailand is another one of my favourites – I can’t get enough of the food!”
Embellished silk gown and silk blazer; both Nikhil Thampi. Leather sandals, Christian Louboutin

“Having studied and worked in the hospitality sector, my wardrobe tends to veer towards neutral-hued formal attire. I love Indian designers like Pia Pauro, Malini Ramani and Gauri & Nainika for solid-coloured, chic evening wear. My idea of a vacation is discovering quaint little towns and sitting in a local café with a book. Europe is usually where I head first; I like to get a sense of the culture and live like a local for the little time that I am there! I have a tendency to over-pack, so now I restrict myself based on the number of days of travel. I always carry gym gear; I love waking up early in the morning to go running and take in some of that fresh European air.”
