When I was introduced to the Internet, circa 1997-98, it was Susan Miller’s site that I logged on to first: Astrologyzone.com. It’s still the one site I visit on the 1st of every month. Her predictions are spot on, right down to the window of dates she lists, and that’s also what has made her a celebrity favourite. Her fans are prone to geek-speak, and often repeat after her: “Mars is retrograde,” “soon Saturn will be in conflict with Neptune.” But that’s because she explains things simply. “Mars is the booster rocket to important ventures that are new and just created. Mars will give you courage, energy, and drive; if you want a project that will be highly competitive, you need to have Mars in a strong position, not retrograde,” she says, for 2016. And suddenly everything makes perfect sense. For similar truths you can now turn to her annual predictions, Forecast For The Second Half Of 2016 Into 2017, out now exclusively on Juggernaut Books. Here’s a glimpse:
ARIES
When it comes to your career, you do have some sensational victories due. You may have experienced this earlier this year on March 16 when Jupiter, the giver of gifts and luck, in residence this year in your sixth house of work assignment, received a golden beam from powerhouse planet Pluto, which remains in your prestigious tenth house of fame. This same aspect will again occur on June 26. It appears something you are working on during the days surrounding those dates—March 16 and June 26 of this year—will bring you enormous praise and possibly glowing publicity. You may score points with a client and receive lots of repeat business.
TAURUS
This year, 2016, could be the year you’ve long awaited. Good-fortune planet Jupiter is now in your love sector, Virgo, a sign wildly compatible with yours. Jupiter will tour your fifth house of true love for many months, until September 9. Jupiter first entered your love sector on August 11, 2015, so you may have already begun to see how spectacular having Jupiter there can be. If you didn’t have special fun, meet anyone new, or see your love grow deeper with your existing partner, you will still have plenty of time to reap the glowing benefits from Jupiter in 2016.
GEMINI
The past year, 2015, gave you a great career opportunity to get ahead professionally and make quite a name for yourself. This trend will continue in a big way in 2016, but what will set this year apart from former years is its emphasis on the outstanding opportunity you will have to improve your private home life too. You seem to have an unusually balanced year coming up, with opportunities to see impressive progress in both areas. A close relationship in love or business will undergo change and growth, and if things go right—and all indications are that they will—you will learn how to create a true partnership where both of you contribute equally to a common goal, and together the two of you will be able to create something of great value.
CANCER
You will find 2016 a noticeable improvement over past years. You have been through quite a bit of upheaval, and as you look back, you may see that your home life has changed dramatically within recent years, especially while Saturn visited Libra from 2009 to 2012. Saturn limited your movements and forced you to focus on a real estate matter, or alternatively, the care of an aging family member. Although there may have been other family members to assume the role you had taken on, for some reason others were not in a position to help, so all the responsibilities for the care of one or both of your parents fell on your shoulders. If the latter was the case, Cancer is known to treasure home and family, so you likely did so willingly and demonstrated great care.
LEO
Now you have entered into the second gestation of this important cycle, and you will likely see your fortunes rise. You’ve not had a year like this one since late 2003 to mid-2004. Your golden financial year officially began last year on August 11, 2015 and will continue through most of this year, until September 9, 2016. The financial rewards that you likely will receive now, in 2016, will be directly related to projects you seeded while Jupiter was in Leo, from mid-July 2014 to mid-August 2015. You may have already started to see your hard work pay off, because Jupiter entered your financial house in 2015 during your birthday time. Jupiter generally requires a little time to settle into a new house of the horoscope, but you may have seen immediate news. I say that because the last week of August 2015 was an especially bright time for you to increase your salary, or if you are self-employed, to raise your fees or to bring in lucrative new business.
VIRGO
Your golden epoch technically started on August 11, 2015 and will wind down on September 9, 2016, a period of nearly 13 months. Perhaps you have already started to see how special this period is for you. If you have an August birthday or one that falls before mid-September, then you may already have made some impressive gains in your public, romantic, or home life. Jupiter moved quickly and covered a lot of ground last year, so the Virgos born early in the sign were first in line to see benefits. No worries—all Virgos, regardless of when their birthday occurs, will have their time in the Sun throughout 2016. If you feel you’ve not seen fulfilment of Jupiter’s promise so far, it may be because Jupiter went retrograde on January 7 and didn’t go direct until May 9, 2016. After that, Jupiter stays direct until February 2017. You should see a big difference after May 9—life will become sunnier and happier than it’s been in ages.
LIBRA
By the last quarter of 2016, you will see a lifting of the dark clouds that have been overhead. That part of the year, and extending into most of 2017, will allow great aspects—the kind you’ve not seen for a decade—and will give you the opening you need to reverse so many difficulties you have suffered in the past. In short, you are heading into one of the best periods of your life. This will happen as soon as Jupiter, the great planet of good fortune, enters Libra on September 9, 2016, and will remain in your sign for 13 months, until October 10, 2017. You have not enjoyed Jupiter’s presence in Libra for 12 years, for it takes Jupiter that length of time to circle the Sun. The last time you had Jupiter’s favour was from September 2004 to October 2005.
SCORPIO
Part of the reason for your sunny outlook throughout 2016 and 2017 has to do with the departure of Saturn from Scorpio in mid-September 2015. That sounds very long ago, but it was only weeks before 2016 began. Saturn is the tough talking planet that as far back as October 2012 continually urged you to assume more responsibility and view the world in more practical, realistic terms. Saturn also showed you how to find the strength within you to confront a series of challenges that would have daunted any action hero. This planet of tough love showed you that nothing of value comes easily or for free.
SAGITTARIUS
Ever since Saturn entered Sagittarius from December 23, 2014 through June 14, 2015, your responsibilities began to mount. Saturn took a break on June 14 last year as it slid back into Scorpio, then moved forward back into Sagittarius on September 17, 2015. From then on, there would be no more breathers for you from Saturn’s demands. Life has become intense and continues to be that way, but all your efforts will be well worth the time you will have invested. You are being asked to set down roots and stabilise your life for greater security, so you are likely working on a goal of great importance to you.
CAPRICORN
Uranus has been in harsh angle to your Sun in Capricorn ever since Uranus entered Aries, your fourth house of the home, in March 2011, and Uranus won’t exit Aries until 2019. Since then, you may have had to move house—very possibly you moved more than once—and the decision to move may have come up quite suddenly. Your career was likely to have been the driving force in this home-related situation, for you may have had to relocate to take advantage of emerging professional opportunities or due to financial factors that were in flux. Of course, these were not the only reasons many members of your sign moved, but they were the predominant reasons for most. This unsettled living situation might continue for you, as Uranus will remain in your fourth house of the home until 2019.
AQUARIUS
When it comes to love, this will be a quiet year, compared to your experience from July 2014 to August 2015, when you may have become engaged or married. Still, there are certain dates coming up that you will likely enjoy very much, and if you are single, may mark a time of a fateful meeting. If you are dating, there is a chance soon of an engagement or marriage. Let’s have a look. Your first opportunity in 2016 came as the year took off, at the new moon, February 8 in Aquarius, plus ten days. February was one of my favorite months of the year for you, for Venus was in Aquarius from February 16 to March 12, 2016. Still, if you didn’t meet someone, it may have been because the stage wasn’t exactly perfect for you, for not all planets were being cooperative. If you did meet someone, be optimistic—you have more to look forward to in this relationship, but first you have to get over a few speed bumps.
PISCES
You have plenty of exciting planetary action coming up to make 2016 a landmark year, and 2017 is shaping up to be a favourite too. Many of the changes will bring you into several new roles, in both your personal and professional life. This is extraordinary, especially because you’ve not seen anything quite like this before. Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Pluto, plus the coming eclipses in Pisces and Virgo, will all play a part in presenting you with opportunities that will bridge you from your present life to one that will look entirely new, will be very exciting, and will be right for your evolving maturity. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to be creative too, and that is always important to Pisces.
