Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living, London
"It’s a very contemporary apartment in the heart of London. Very muted and minimal. Extremely well planned, and you see it in the little things in each of its serviced apartments. It's the ultimate, quiet luxury."

Four Seasons Resort Landaa Giraavaru, Maldives
"The hotel is set on the most pristine Baa Atoll, which is a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. It's got blues for miles everywhere you look. And they’ve deftly worked in elements of blue in the design as well. They also blend rustic and modern design very beautifully – with lots of wide, open spaces, and big windows that bring in plenty of sun and greens."

The Connaught, London
"This is another Mayfair hotel I love. It has very distinct arches that you can’t possibly miss, when you walk by. The walls have so much history – it first opened in 1815. It has a David Collins designed penthouse suite, which effortlessly combines metallic surfaces with luxe velvets and textures. It’s a great mix of the past and the present."

Shutters On The Beach, Santa Monica, California
"It’s a gorgeous property, with nothing except a spit of sand standing between you and the ocean. From the outside, the hotel is as pretty as a Wes Anderson set. And inside, the rooms are done up in warm Tibetan rugs, and porcelain, and lot of pretty little artefacts from around the world."

Hotel Le Royal Monceau, Paris
"I remember I was setting up Charcoal Project when I made many trips to Paris, and stayed at this hotel. Philippe Starck always brings an unexpected mix in his designs, and combines stunning artwork with statement furniture pieces. Ultimately the spaces he creates are like little urban sanctuaries."
