Seems like actor Swara Bhasker is having quite the time in this lockdown. The unconventional Bollywood star recently rescued a wild bird and brought it back to her residence.
If you’re wondering what kind of bird is it, allow us. The bird is apparently termed as a black kite, a specie that is found in portions of Africa and Europe. Also, fun fact: It’s a bird of prey and it’s illegal to keep such animals at home.
The actor had carefully placed the bird in a small box. As she revealed her new-found-quarantine buddy, she went on to clarify that a Wildlife Rescue NGO called RAWW would come over and take ‘Chengez’ with them. Swara Bhasker chose to name the bird after the ruler Ghengis Khan.
But here’s the cutest part. The visitor was treated to some refreshments while it made itself home at Swara’s house. Watch for yourself.

The latest update is that the environmental conservation organization has taken Swara’s one day pet into their custody and it will now be taken care of.
And as we ourselves are locked in, here’s one thing we’re hoping for the bird.
