Apple is really out to please this time. If you weren’t already a fan of the Apple Watch, it now comes with three new leather bands by Hermès – the Single Tour, Double Tour and Cuff. They’ll be available in four elegant colours, capucine, bleu jean, étain and fauve.
The dial will be customisable, so you can choose between Hermès’ existing designs – Clipper, Cape Cod and Espace – and the stainless steel back will have a neatly etched Hermès signature.
“At Hermès, we strive to provide our clients with elegant, creative and functional objects for their everyday lives,” said Pierre-Alexis Dumas, Hermès’ executive vice president in charge of artistic direction. While Apple’s chief design officer Jonathan Ive added, “Apple and Hermès make very different products, but they reflect the deep appreciation of quality design.”
The range roughly starts at Rs 73,260 (Single Tour). While it releases in select Apple stores on October 5, it will only be available in India by November. We’ll be watching the clock!
