Three-quarters of the Ocean’s 8 cast gathered at the Met today for a press conference promoting their upcoming film. Only missing from the cast were Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter who, in a nifty bit of guerilla marketing, were pulling off a high-stakes heist at the Guggenheim. While the two icons were away, their cast mates from the forthcoming caper flick proved all work and no play is, well, a crime.
Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, and Awkwafina gathered for a set of stunning photos and, in the middle of it, cracked each other up, thereby adding at least a decade to my life.
Everything about this photo lifts my spirits and moisturizes my T-zone. I feel like I should pay this photo my insurance co-pay. The sight of six of Hollywood’s greatest treasures wilding out should immediately be faxed to North Korea; it will bring about world peace.
And, okay, yes technically only four of the six are cracking up. But that makes this photo even better. Anne Hathaway’s unbothered mid-flip hair and Mindy Kaling’s dress pockets have lowered my cholesterol. Honestly, I think my life would be too improved if all of them were laughing at once.
