Anjali Lama has come a long way from her hometown, a small village in Nepal. After walking the ramp for designers like Rajesh Pratap Singh and Gaurav Gupta, the transgender model just added another feather to her cap; she’s a part of Calvin Klein’s latest regional campaign, ‘My Statement. #MyCalvins’.
Anjali stars in the campaign, along with nine other pathbreaking individuals from Asia, such as Japanese filmmaker Shiori Ito and Chinese photographer Tong Meng. ‘My Statement. #MyCalvins’ celebrates those who’ve pushed the envelope and made strong personal statements. Inspired by International Women’s Day and its 2019 theme, balance, Calvin Klein asked each individual what balance means to them. For Anjali, it’s all about being yourself, loving yourself, and accepting yourself. Take a look:
