If your favourite part of Hum Aapke Hain Koun was the dog who was clearly above all the nonsense going on around him, then you have a kindred spirit in comedian Aditi Mittal. In a short video, she and writer Jugal Mody create a mockumentary-style biography of the Pomeranian we only knew as Tuffy. Starring actor Renuka Shahane, theatreperson Kaizad Kotwal, filmmaker and writer Paromita Vohra, comedian Vrajesh Hirjee and writer Deepanjana Pal, the 15-minute film asks the questions that have haunted us these 22 years, namely: Who is the real Tuffy? Where did he come from? Where did he go? And will Ranbir Kapoor play him in a movie someday?
Our favourite part: Kotwal’s plummy Brit accent (if you’ve ever wondered how the Queen would say ‘potli’, it’s at 3:58) and Hirjee’s perfect Bambaiyya.
