"My favourite bridal make-up look is dark smoky eyes with black lips – I’ve Indianised it to bark brown smokey eyes with a beautiful English rose bitten lip or a berry lip for the daring brides out there. Use a lively berry lip colour with a matte effect – also, soften this lip with a few dabs of tissue and powder so that the entire effect is soft and mysterious."

"Keep your makeup simple since your gown is going to attract a lot of attention. Deep and warm lip colors such as orangy browns; mahogany, deep warm reds and chocolate and deep cool shades such as cool brown, taupe and deep purple are perfect for winter weddings (brown lips are everywhere!). On the cheeks avoid blush and go with contouring them with a bronzer and use highlighter on the apples. Bright color blush is not for the wedding day - try bronzer under your cheekbones and a highlighter on the apples instead (or try stripping)."

"I've always believed that beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Instead of going all out with chunky glitter, use metallic copper and brown coloured pigments to create a smoky eye. NARS has a beautiful brown pencil eyeshadow which give the perfect amount of shine without going over the top. Let the rest of your outfit and accessories shine more than your eyes."
