Expect accessories, bags and shoes from Valentino to be available – these will include pieces from the rock-stud collection, among other styles. This is also your biggest chance to join Olivier Rousteing’s #BalmainArmy, which includes fashion’s It girls Kendall Jenner, Gigi Hadid and Cara Delevingne. In the pipeline are pieces from the Fall/Winter ’15 collection.
“Valentino Garavani and Balmain Paris has been on our list for a long time. Julie [Leymarie, co-founder] and I are big fans of Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, and how they are innovating a storied Roman brand. We thought their bags and shoes reflected best this new direction and were particularly appropriate for India’s modern woman. As for Balmain, there is no doubt that Balmain’s sexy, disco glam collection is well suited for our clients looking to add some glamour to their wardrobe,” said co-founder Cecilia Morelli Parikh.
