“Indians are the white people of brown people,” says Vir Das

Donald Trump’s presidential win is basically like every arranged marriage in our country ever. This is not us talking, it’s one of the hilarious quips comedian Vir Das made on Conan recently. Das, who was on the show to promote his Netflix special Abroad Understanding, ranted about America taking their varied breakfast cereal for granted and our monopoly in the world’s brown people stakes, while also providing the world with a simple solution to end all religious conflict.

“Everybody’s like ‘Man, we didn’t choose this guy. We didn’t vote for this guy, now we gotta live with him.’ To you Americans, that’s your president. To most Indians, that’s a marriage.”

He was later joined on stage by host Conan O’Brien, who is way taller than we thought. Seriously, it’s a little unsettling.

A short man meets an incredibly tall one! I’m on @TeamCoco tonight on TBS! Tune in at 11/10c! #CONAN #conanobrien #virdas #abroadunderstanding #netflix

The comedian also hung out with Hank Azaria, the voice of Apu from The Simpsons, and some pretty, pretty cupcakes.
