Designer Ruchika Sachdeva, of Bodice, is transforming her studio/workshop for two days, December 16 and 17, and turning it into a concept store.
The workshop-turned-store will feature limited edition merchandise from Bodice, Kanika Sachdeva’s accessory label Square Loop and Aman Khanna’s Claymen; all with a similar, minimal aesthetic and androgynous vibe. This is a good chance to see what gets made between the runway presentations; pieces that aren’t season specific – or “beautiful accidents” as Ruchika Sachdeva puts it. “People often ask me what I’m wearing, and place an order even if it’s not something I’ve shown before.”
“This is chance for us to curate it our way,” says Sachdeva. “Typically, only a part of our vision gets across, but this was a chance for us to communicate our story, the way we can.”
