Watch Tommy Hilfiger’s FW ’16 show live from NYFW!

Every season Tommy Hilfiger pushes the boundaries of digital innovations. At their Fall/Winter 2016 show, the brand is looking to create an Insta Pit, think of it as an alternative to the conventional photographers pit, dedicated to give social media stars an up-close look at the line as it premieres on the runway.

“Each season we use digital technology in innovative ways that transform the show setting and open the experience to everyone – from guests in New York to our global fan base watching via livestream and on social media,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “Instagram is an amazing partner to the world of fashion, and for Fall 2016 we’ll leverage the platform’s incredible popularity and influence in the industry with the first ever ‘InstaPit’ at New York Fashion Week.”

Secondly, Gigi Hadid starts her innings with Tommy Hilfiger with this collection. The supermodel will also head the brand’s debut on Snapchat! Trust her to take you backstage and to the rehearsals, and share some fun behind-the-scenes moments.

Tommy Hilfiger will also be the first brand at NYFW to premiere a new app in collaboration with Apple Watch: GPS Radar. The app gives users the ability to update RSVPs, scan into events, and receive show notifications, and “fast lane” access. Perfect, if you’re on the ground and running between shows.

It’s also making photo booths look bad, with it’s new take on the concept. A 1920s-inspired cinematographer will invite guests to have GIFS taken against the set as a backdrop. While the set up will look vintage, the cinematographer will generate a GIF and create an instant photograph that guests walk away with. The snapshot will also feature a link that can be used to download the animated GIF online for immediate sharing. Catch all this and more from show live here, at 9.30 pm IST.
