What to expect:
The So SPA at Sofitel Mumbai is a treat, in more ways than one. It employs L’Occitane en Provence products – which immediately makes it special. Plus, it’s won awards in 2013 and 2014, at the World Luxury Spa Awards. Besides, it’s a 24 hour spa, spread over 6,000 sq ft. The menu reads like a restaurant. You can choose from Starters (30 min), Main Courses (anywhere between 30 to 90 min) and Desserts (30 min). Oh, and there are Specials (150 min).
The decor:
The highlight? Golden Drops Of Luxury. A beautiful glass fixture which looks a lot like drops of water frozen in mid-air, and it’s coupled with the sound of water falling gently around you.
You have to try:
Immortelle Youthful Eyes, if you have only 30 minutes. It reduces fine lines and dark circles – particularly helpful after a long night. If you have around an hour try Precious Moments, where they start with exfoliation, and follow it up with a stone massage and body wrap.
