It’s rare to wake up to a flurry of (stunning) celeb we-fies. But that’s what you get when you put leading Bollywood and Hollywood actors together in a room. Akshay Kumar, Parineeti Chopra, Ali Zafar, Abhishek Bachchan, Matthew McConaughey and Salma Hayek were all attending the global Teacher Prize, instituted by the Global Education & Skills Forum, Dubai and the Varkey Foundation.
It seeks to honour mentors from around the world, and this year the winner Hanan Al Hroub walked away with $ 1 million for her stellar work in educating children in Palestine, against a tense environment.
The event also saw Ali Zafar belt out a number, and even Matthew McConaughey couldn’t resist shaking a leg with Parineeti Chopra.
