Back From The Archives, Ballet Shoes Are The Hottest Footwear Trend At The Moment

BANNER IMG-3

Ballet shoes, adapted from the ballerinas worn by the performers during their ballet dance, trickled down as fashion wear long ago. Somewhere along the way though, their popularity scores took a hit. These pointy shoes have been a fashion staple throughout the 1900s but were mainly found everywhere by the early 2000s. With the rise of Y2K earlier this year, it was only a matter of time before ballet shoes revived.

After being featured in multiple Chanel and Miu Miu runway looks, ballet shoes have tiptoed their way back into this season’s trendiest footwear. So can you blame us if we can’t wait to get our hands on them (or rather our feet)?
