We Are Obsessed With Danielle Vasinova’s Black Floral Gown At The Cannes Film Festival And For Good Reason

The Cannes Film Festival might be over, but the films and fashion statements of the event are still on our minds. At the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès in Cannes, France, guests witnessed a vibrant plethora of international films, while the adept filmmakers were honoured for their contribution to cinema. Sean Baker’s Anora won the Palme d’Or, while Payal Kapadia’s All We Imagine As Light bagged the Grand Prix. Meanwhile, Anusuya Sengupta won the Best Actress award in the Un Certain Regard section for her role in Bulgarian director Konstantin Bojanov’s The Shameless.

Outside on the red carpet, fashion had its own story to tell. Nancy Tyagi attended the event in a self-designed dress, while French singer Yseult paid homage to Christian Dior’s iconic New Look silhouette at Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopolis premiere. Needless to say, red carpet fashion at this year’s Cannes was one to remember for ages.

Amidst the roster of Cannes red carpet fashion, American actress Danielle Vasinova’s Ines Di Santo gown caught our attention for its sexy yet understated charm. The action-adventure actress was seen on the red carpet for Canadian filmmaker David Cronenberg’s arthouse horror film The Shrouds. Vasinova wore a deep v-necked black gown made of ruched tulle with embroidered floral and leaf details. She topped it off with a Damiani diamond necklace for contrast.

On the work front, the international rising star was recently seen playing Sandra Whittaker in the neo-noir thriller Darkness of Man alongside Jean Claude Van Damme. Darkness of Man released in theatres worldwide on 21 May 2024.
