The ELLE Carnival at the Phoenix Palladium on the weekend of March 18th and 19th, 2023, was an event for the books. It was a two-day extravaganza featuring the best in fashion and lifestyle, topped by fabulous events and groovy live music. The event saw Bombay’s stylish crowd congregate at the Phoenix Palladium for two days of shopping and jamboree.

One of the key brands at the ELLE Carnival was seasonless, ready-to-wear apparel and homeware label Anousshka whose focus is on sustainable materials. Anousshka caters to all women who believe in recycling and refashioning their clothing. Anoushka Sadarangani created “Anousshka” in 2022 with the goal of making sustainable living more affordable.

The brand provides a selection of homeware goods manufactured from 100% teakwood that lends a touch of elegance to any space. Anousshka is a developing community of conscious shoppers that prioritise gracious living, self-awareness, and sustainability. Showcasing at ELLE Carnival allowed the company to reach new audiences while also educating consumers on the different benefits of a sustainable lifestyle.

With a strong motto of making a sustainable lifestyle inexpensive and accessible in order to have a good impact on Mother Earth. The brand exhibited had pieces from every collection but also launched the current collection, the new plant-based Indian wear AnuSara. The clothing is constructed of textiles created from plant-based cellulose, which makes it lightweight, comfy, and sustainable. “We had a positive reaction to our one-of-a-kind collection and got positive feedback for our environmental endeavour,” says Anoushka.

The brand has been highly cognizant of its affiliations and objectives since its inception. “ELLE is a well-established publication that has consistently put up outstanding efforts throughout the years. We are honoured to be involved with ELLE Carnival and its outstanding cause.”

The gorgeous Mumbai city has responded well to the brand. “It was good exposure for a young brand like Anoushka.” It helped us reach out to more people and promote our brand in one of the best shopping spots in the country,” says Anoushka.
