When we sat down to put together ELLE’s Fashion Issue, the vibe in the room was clear: we wanted to express what fashion feels like for each one of us. Fashion is more than just clothes—it’s our emotional response to the world around us. This issue became our way to express those feelings, from the superhero confidence a certain t-shirt can give you to finding the perfect black dress, we explored it all.
Our cover celebrates the effortlessly stylish couple Athiya Shetty and K. L. Rahul in head-to-toe Louis Vuitton. Shooting with them was joyful, even as the rain turned Bandra into its usual flood zone. We created a makeshift tent inside the studio to keep things moving, and for six delightful hours, their energies came together to create a cover that’s both chic and fun.
The ELLE Style Awards presented in Delhi this month has also been an important milestone. With over 20 awards and attended by more than a hundred curated guests, this event was truly a labour of love. From Amit Aggarwal taking home the Designer of the Decade award for his groundbreaking work, to Kirandeep Chahal dedicating her Model of the Year win to everyone who doubted her, it was a night that celebrated style, grit and talent.
