It’s been a whirlwind of a year! Celebrating ELLE India’s 27th anniversary also marks my one-year journey with ELLE India, and let me tell you, it’s been quite the rollercoaster! A year brimming with exciting firsts — ELLE Sustainability Awards, The ELLE List — and a panoply of familiar delights — ELLE Carnival, ELLE Beauty Awards, ELLE Graduates — we’ve been keeping ourselves quite occupied.
For our anniversary issue, we decided to flip the script. Instead of celebrating the numerous milestones behind us, we aimed the spotlight on the future — anticipating what lies ahead as we step into our 28th year in the country. On our fashion trend pages, we’re predicting how AI will revolutionise the worlds of fashion and beauty, smashing barriers and enabling you to bring your wildest imaginations to life. We’ve also explored the use of AI tools in the beauty industry, delving into the future of an arena that thrives on human interaction and seeking insights from the experts who are steering the ship.
We just wrapped up the 10th edition of ELLE Graduates — an event with its gaze firmly set on the future. With over 300 entries from across the globe, our esteemed jury members handpicked five designers destined to dominate the runways in 2024. We also recognised the trailblazers set to shape the future of fashion.
Our cover star this year is Amrit — a model and artist extraordinaire. Balancing international runways and creating art, Amrit’s versatility shines through in our shoot.
