ELLE: A beauty advice you would give to your 16-year-old self?
Amrita Thakur (AT): To start anti-ageing care in my 20s.
ELLE: Your beauty obsession?
AT: Artisanal fragrances and cheek tints.
ELLE: Your mantra for being confident?
AT: Being secure with yourself. Also, a good blow dry on a bad day always helps!
ELLE: What’s the craziest thing you’ve done in the name of beauty?
AT: Acrylic nails. They have to buff your natural nails to nothing for it, and I couldn’t do it more than once. But people get it done repeatedly, and I can’t understand how.
ELLE: Your favourite fragrance?
AT: La Tulipe by Byredo and For Her by Narciso Rodrigues.
ELLE: What’s the best beauty advice you’ve received?
AT: Keep it simple.
