Over the years, the cultural impact of Cinco de Mayo has extended far beyond the borders of Mexico to become a lively festival celebrated across the globe. Recipe for Picante:

Ingredients

  1. 60 ml PATRÓN Reposado
  2. 30 ml Fresh Lime Juice
  3. 15ml Agave Syrup
  4. 15ml Passionfruit Syrup
  5. 3 Seedless Jalapeño Slices (Add Bird’s Eye for a bigger punch)
  6. Tajin Rim

Method

  1. Gently muddle the jalapeño slices in the cocktail shaker.
  2. Add Patron, lime juice, agave, passionfruit and ice to the shaker.
  3. Shake and strain into a rock glass rimmed with Tajin over fresh ice.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel and one more jalapeño slice.
