ELLE: Tell us about yourself and what made you choose acting as your career.
Geethika: Seeing myself on the big screen was always a dream, sparked by those towering billboards that lined the streets. A year later, that dream has become a reality. I’m filled with immense gratitude and fueled by the ambition to continue striving for excellence.
ELLE: Could you share a valuable lesson you have learned so far in your acting career, one that you will carry with you forever?
Geethika: Two of my most important values are honesty and loyalty to my work. I’ve realised that nothing stays with you throughout life except your work. Friends, family and people will come and go, but your work remains constant. For me, my work is everything, and I am grateful for everything I have today. Always focus on yourself, invest in your growth and keep learning.
ELLE: How would you describe your style? Who do you take inspiration from when it comes to fashion?
Geethika: Never follow trends blindly. Always think about what suits you, enhances your personality and makes you comfortable. It’s essential to focus on what works for you rather than what’s popular. As a minimalist, I believe in wearing pieces that I not only find comfortable but also love. When I dress, my priority is to feel confident and true to myself. Embrace your unique style, and let your clothing reflect who you truly are.
ELLE: As an actress with a packed schedule and stressful days, what do you consider your go-to therapy for rejuvenation and unwinding from the hectic pace?
Geethika: Yes, I love to pamper myself whenever I get the time. I make sure to visit spas and indulge in my favourite treatment, hammam. I also prioritise eating well and engaging in intense workouts.
ELLE: What projects are you working on right now? What is something that your fans should look forward to?
Geethika: One of my Malayalam films is set to release soon, and it’s very interesting. It’s a women-oriented film, and my role is unique, involving elements of thriller, detective work and emotional depth. I’m also currently shooting a Punjabi film, where I play a naughty, romantic girl. I enjoy taking on diverse roles and exploring different characters.
