The ELLE Carnival at the Phoenix Palladium on the weekend 18th and 19th March 2023, was an event for the books. It was a two-day extravaganza featured the best in fashion and lifestyle, topped by fabulous events and groovy live music. In the words of Ainee Nizami Ahmedi, the Editor of ELLE India, “This weekend ELLE Carnival was the perfect spot for all things fashion and beauty. Right from our pop-up stores to the in-store activities to our fashion showcase inside the mall, we ensured that there was something for everyone.”

The event saw Bombay’s stylish crowd congregating at Phoenix Palladium for two days of shopping and jamboree. A highlight of the event was the very best of designer wear at absolutely unbelievable markdowns, courtesy of the Elle Booth. Shoppers had access to pieces from the creme de la creme of Indian Designer wear, with looks from Sabyasachi, Rahul Mishra, Gaurav Gupta, Anita Dongre, JJ Valaya, and Rimzim Dadu, at prices that were nothing short of a fashion steal. To top it all, it was for a noble cause! A clean sweep for both days, its sales proceeds were donated to the Ogaan Cancer Charity.

The Carnival saw a marvelous way to get styled by ace stylists that couldn’t be missed. Style experts like Ritika Sachdeva, Ruchi Krishna, Jainee Bheda, and Neha Chugh had in-store 45 minute styling sessions at all your favorite brands, from Jack and Jones to Vero Moda. It was truly an opportunity like no other to increase your fashion quotient.

Shoppers were met with a pleasant surprise at various stores with the Elle Loves signboards, dotted throughout the venue over product displays, that highlighted statement pieces curated with love by the team at Elle, exclusively for carnival-goers to level up their style game.

With sessions curated by the very best stylists, premium designer labels at never-before-seen prices, and scrumptious food- ELLE Carnival was nothing short of a dream.

Day 1 saw an indulgence in only the best of retail therapy, with high-end beauty products from across the globe finding their way into the bags of shoppers. Think Japanese skincare a la Biore, Brazilian haircare sensation Cadiveu, and the much-loved Australian beauty guru Kevin Murphy.

The cherry on the cake was the insightful panel discussions, courtesy of beauty icon Aanam Chashmawala and skincare experts Dr. Aseem Sharma from Re’equil and Dr. Batul Patel. There was an enlightening discussion about the skincare industry, covering topics like “marketing quantity vs. performance quantity” and “internal vs. external hydration”, among others.

Panel attendees also witnessed an interesting talk about skincare and the power of biotin, courtesy of  Shilpa Khanna Thakkar, CEO of Chicnutrix.

The evening ended with a blast with a double celebration, at Dobaraa’s exclusive party, it was the best of both worlds- gourmet food and glamorous drinks. The time was “cocktail-o-clock” for the high-end crowd of partygoers, with access to the invite-only event being tickets via Paytm Insider.  A night full of music, fun and unlimited drinks- all in the upscale space of Dobaraa.

At the classy Victoria’s Secret X Juluis, party attendees of the soiree felt like they flew across the pond for an out-of-the-world experience. This exclusive evening at the chic European-inspired venue saw an esteemed guest list, with industry insiders sipping on delectable wine courtesy of Chateau Indage and raving to the catchy beats of DJ NAYANIKA.

Carrying the torch of party spirit to day two was the legacy footwear brand Birkenstock’s fashion show, with apparel from Marks & Spencer India. It saw the latest looks finished off in style with footwear from Birkenstock’s newest drop.

The runway was set ablaze with the charismatic cast of Netflix’s “Class”—Chintan Rachchh, Ayesha Kanga, Chayaan Chopra, and Piyush Khati—with their power walks and playfulness coming through.

The ever-stunning Nargis Fakhri gracefully closed the show. A crowd puller was the Elle Booth, with a fashion deal like no other, all for a noble cause.
