ELLE: What’s your preference when it comes to accessories? Are you more of a minimalist looks-wise, or do you gravitate more towards OTT styles?
Hrithik Roshan: I like watches that are classics, with minimalist design. Something that can be worn for different occasions, whether I am on an adventure or heading for a formal event, would be my pick. To give you a perspective, my current favourite watch is Rado’s Captain Cook High-tech Ceramic Skeleton.
ELLE: Do you remember the first time you gifted someone a watch or someone gifted you a watch? Could you share the experience?
Hrithik Roshan: The first watch that I ever owned was gifted to me by my parents when I was in school. It was a skeleton watch, transparent in a manner that I could see the inner mechanism and hear it too. I had a very curious mind and remember being fascinated by the way it functioned.

ELLE: It’s 2024, so safe to say it’s been quite a while since you’ve dominated the industry. How has your personal style evolved throughout the years?
Hrithik Roshan: Over the years, I think I’ve grown to adopt a style that’s true to me. Earlier, I used to simply follow what the stylists would put together; today I’m more attuned to styles that make me feel comfortable and thereby confident.
ELLE: Which of your on-screen characters would have the best watch repertoire, hypothetically speaking? Please elaborate on the same.
Hrithik Roshan: I would say my character in Fighter would have the best watch repertoire. In fact, Patty can be seen donning his Rado throughout the film. Its bold, adventurous spirit aligns perfectly with his character. The Captain Cook combines rugged durability with a refined, classic design—ideal for someone who operates in high-stakes situations. Hrithik Roshan: I do not keep up with fashion. For me, comfort is more important than following fashion trends.
ELLE: What does true luxury mean to you?
Hrithik Roshan: Time is my most cherished and sought luxury. Being able to have the time to myself and my family is the biggest luxury for me as a public figure.
