Over the past few decades, there has been seen a sharp rise in the number of high-net-worth individuals of Indian origin. Today, we spotlight one such self-made entrepreneur – Pankaj Oswal. Hailed as one of the most influential and impactful visionaries across the business circles of the world, he is the chairman of global conglomerate Oswal Group Global that has interests in petrochemicals, mining and real estate. The power couple Pankaj and Radhika Oswal, and their two children Vasundhara, (aged 24) and Ridi Oswal (aged 18) pictured above are known for their taste for the finer things in life.
The jet setting family has been living in Switzerland since the past 5 years and currently reside in ‘Villa Vari’, a luxurious architectural masterpiece that is currently rated as one of the world’s top 10 most expensive houses.

Renowned interior designer Jeffrey Wilkes, who previously created the iconic Oberoi Rajvilas, Oberoi Udaivilas, and the Leela Hotels, has lavishly transformed the entire interior of the Swiss mansion to reflect the taste of the Oswals. The place was previously owned by greek businesswoman, socialite, and heiress to the Onassis fortune, Christina Onassis.

This one-of-a-kind rural getaway is palatial and spacious spanning 40,000 square metres and providing a picturesque perspective of the snow-capped Mt Blanc mountain range. While the views outside are stunning, the decor inside is stunning featuring high ceilings, muted tones and delicate filigree work.

Villa Vari is lovingly named by the Oswal couple after the first two initials of both their daughters- Vasundhara and Riddhi.The family also owns a private jet (Gulfstream 450) yacht (Fairline Squadron), sport cars (Bentley, Lamborghini) and have luxurious properties all over the world.

The Oswals have maintained their heritage by incorporating vaastu principles in Villa Vari, which is situated in the Swiss village of Gingins and is only 15 minutes from the lakeside metropolis of Geneva.
