We’re back with another hack that won’t just simplify your beauty routine, but will probably change your life. I spend a decent amount of time scrolling through my social media feed and that’s how I stumbled upon this makeup hack that involves a lip stain making makeup application easier. Ever thought of using your favourite lip stain as an eyeshadow, or contour and then what it’s meant for….as a lip stain? 2023 is the year of versatile beauty, and this hack just proves it.

You begin by applying the lip stain over your eyelids followed by applying it below your lash line too—blend these with an eyeshadow brush to add a pop of colour to your lids whilst giving it a smokey effect with the lower lash line. Follow it up by using the lip stain to draw a small line under your cheekbones to sculpt them and add some definition to them. Finally, use it for its OG use, as a lip stain. The result is an easy monochromatic makeup look that is perfect for when you’re doing your makeup on the go or when you’re just in a hurry.

Benefit Cosmetics Love Tint
A sibling of the cult-favourite Benetint, the Benefit Cosmetics Love Tint is a bright red stain which delivers vibrant colour without being patchy. It can be applied on bare skin as well as layered on makeup.

A personal favourite that has been a part of my vanity ever since its launch, The Etude House Fixing Tint is the airiest tint you could use. It comes in 17 different shades that range from browns to reds and pinks. However, this one dries down pretty quickly so your blending skills have to be quicker!
Fenty Beauty Poutsicle Hydrating Lip Stain
Even though it’s a hydrating lip stain, the Fenty Beauty Poutsicle dries down to a soft matte finish that lasts all day long. Available in 6 different shades including 2 limited edition ones, this lip stain features a unique oil-in-water formula which ensures your skin is left feeling moisturised.

This lip stain comes in 5 shades that are perfect for adding some intensity to your eyes and cheeks.
